Dose context

Individual prescription and exact product label; no catalog regimen defaults.

Dosing and preparation are indication- and presentation-specific. Use the linked prescribing information and the individual prescription; no generic dose range is assigned here.

How to read this information

Catalog ranges can describe approved labeling, clinical research or unverified reports. They are not interchangeable and do not select a personal dose.

Half-life

GONAL-f subcutaneous follitropin alfa: terminal half-life was about 24 hours in healthy down-regulated women, 32 hours in IVF/embryo-transfer patients, and 32–41 hours in healthy men depending on repeated versus single dosing. Absorption affects the observed elimination rate; one generic value would obscure these differences.

Species, route and formulation matter. Half-life does not define a safe dosing interval.

Routes and frequency in the catalog

No validated route or schedule recorded.

Storage

These GONAL-f vials: 2–8°C or 20–25°C; protect from light. Reconstituted solution: same ranges, discard unused portion after 28 days. Pen instructions are separate.

Generic storage notes cannot establish a beyond-use date or sterility for a particular vial.

Preparation and reconstitution

Follow the exact presentation’s preparation instructions and supplied diluent. Do not transfer a mixing recipe from another brand or strength.
