Storage
SYMLIN pen-injectors: refrigerate unused pens at 2–8°C and protect from light; never freeze. After first use, refrigerate or keep at ≤30°C and discard after 30 days, regardless of refrigeration. Do not exceed the printed expiry.
Generic storage notes cannot establish a beyond-use date or sterility for a particular vial.
Preparation and reconstitution
SYMLIN is supplied as a solution in pen-injectors. Do not mix with insulin in the same syringe; injections must be separate. Oral medicines needing rapid or threshold exposure have label-specific timing requirements.
