Half-life
HUMALOG insulin lispro: the label reports about one hour after SC administration. IV studies in healthy subjects reported 51–55 minutes at the studied doses. This is not the duration of glucose lowering or a safe repeat-dose interval. U-100 and U-200 device/route restrictions remain product-specific.
Species, route and formulation matter. Half-life does not define a safe dosing interval.

HUMALOG unopened vials: 2–8°C. Opened vials: refrigerate or keep ≤30°C for up to 28 days. In-use pens: ≤30°C, discard after 28 days. Do not freeze; pump instructions differ.
